How to Register

In OJS 3, the registration process for authors typically involves the following:

Registration:

  1. Access the journal website.
  2. Click on "Register" or  Create or Connect your ORCID iD. What is ORCID?
  3. Fill out the registration form with the required information, such as name, email address, affiliation, and username/password.
  4. Optionally, agree to any terms and conditions or privacy policies.
  5. Submit the registration form.
  6. Check your email for a confirmation message and follow the provided instructions to activate your account.

How to make a submission.

The submission process for authors typically involves the following steps:

Submission

  1. Login to your registered account on the journal website.
  2. Go to the journal's homepage or the "Author" section.
  3. Look for a "New Submission".

Step 1:

  • Select the Section. Select the Section such as Article, case Study, Book Review, or Special collection. If your study is related to any Special issue scope, then select the Special Collection.
  • Select the Category: Select the category according to your study area.
  • Submission Requirements and Check List: Read the checklist carefully. It will help you to make complete Submission. Incomplete submissions will be returned to the author.
  • Manuscript contribution to the field: In 200 words, describe the contribution of your manuscript to the research field. You should frame the research question(s) addressed in your work in the context of current knowledge, highlighting how the findings contribute to progress in your research discipline.
  • Accept the acknowledge the copyright statement and press the save and continue button.

Step 2: Files Upload

  • To upload a manuscript, complete the following steps:
  1. On this page, click at add file, which opens a Choose File window for locating the file on the hard drive of your computer.
  2. Locate the file you wish to submit and highlight it.
  3. Click Open on the Choose File window, which places the name of the file on this page.
  4. Click Upload on this page, which uploads the file from the computer to the journal's website and select the file type.
  5. Once the submission is uploaded, click Save and Continue at the bottom of this page.

Special considerations: Uploading a file containing special characters in the name is not permitted. Characters that aren't allowed in filenames are " * : < > ? / \ |. Kindly eliminate these characters from your filename and proceed to upload your file.

Note: A cover letter is included with the authorship agreement form. As a result, there is no need to include a separate cover letter.

  • Ethical clearance letter/certificate or ethics waiver.
  • Any Supplementary files (If Any)
    • Colour-coded Similarity Report (not older than two days)
    • Compliance checklists (e.g. EQUATOR)
    • Copyright release from third-party owner and indemnification agreement form
    • Correction Request Form (e.g. author change request form)
    • Language editing confirmation letter
    • Online-only appendices for consideration

STEP 3: 

  1. Add the Title
  2. Add Abstract: The abstract must be 200 words or less.
  3. List of Contributors: Please add all of them here.
  • Please add all and complete authorsā€™ details, including Name, email address, Affiliation, ORCID, and authorsā€™ biodata.
  • For ORCID, please request authentication from the Author by clicking on the below option.
    • Send an e-mail to request ORCID authorization from the contributor.

  1. Submission Metadata: Add Submission metadata, including study type, Additional Refinements Languages, Subjects, Disciplines, Keywords, Supporting Agencies, References, funding data (if any), and Reviewer Preferences.

 STEP 4:

Your submission has been uploaded and is ready to be sent. You may go back to review and adjust any of the information you have entered before continuing. When you are ready, click "Finish Submission".

You will receive an email confirmation of the submission. After submission, the manuscript will undergo preliminary inspection by the editorial office to assess whether the submission is complete and adheres to the author's guidelines. Manuscripts that are incomplete (have absent or missing information) or do not comply with the instructions (absent or missing supplementary forms and files) will not be put into the peer-review process until the requirements are met. The incomplete submission will be removed from the System. Authors can track the progress of their submissions by login the author's portal.

What is incomplete Submission?

An incomplete submission refers to a manuscript submission that is missing required files or has not been filled out properly. In the context you provided, an incomplete submission would mean that the following files and forms have not been submitted or filled out correctly:

  • Manuscript Original File: The main document or manuscript file that contains the actual content of the submission. Download the Manuscript Submission File
  • Title Page: A separate document or page that includes the title of the manuscript, author names, affiliations, and other relevant information. Download the Title Page Format
  • Cover Letter and Authorship, Disclosure Statements, Copyright, and License Agreement Form: A document or form that typically includes a cover letter introducing the manuscript, information about the authors' contributions and affiliations, any disclosure statements, and agreements related to copyright and licensing. All the compulsory sections need to be filled in properly.  Download the Form.

To ensure a complete submission, it is important to provide all the required files and properly fill out any necessary forms as specified by the journal's submission guidelines. Failing to include any of these required elements may result in the submission being considered incomplete and potentially removed from the system.
