The goal of the journal is to encourage scholars to publish their experimental and theoretical research and promote research but also Communication, Cultural Studies, Strategy and Management, Education, Linguistics and Language, Gender Studies, and Public Administration in the area of intercultural communication. The journal is an outgrowth of the activities of NIC – the Nordic Network for Intercultural Communication. The great interest shown in the activities of NIC has pointed to a need for more journals employing a peer review procedure within the area of intercultural communication. The current study aims to analyse the behaviours of supervisors when endorsing the ideas of employees who raise promotive voices and consider the employees positively for the development of quality relationships. Specifically, 970 employees were recruited from various small and medium enterprises (SMEs), including manufacturing and electronics companies, in Pakistan for the current study participation. Data collection was conducted in two stages through two sources (supervisors and subordinates) before examining the collected data on the Mplus software for random coefficient regression analyses. Subordinates’ promotive voice was significantly and positively correlated to the Leader-Member-Exchange (LMX) quality and creative idea endorsement when supervisors interpreted the voice as driven more by performance enhancement motives instead of impression management motives. The findings suggested that performance enhancement motives and impression management motives would produce contrasting material consequences for subordinates. The methods of this research are qualitative, using an ethnographic approach, which can be applied in learning so that an in-depth description and analysis of cultural values is obtained. Data collection by interview guidelines, observation, and documentation of two research subjects who are direct descendants of the owner of Mbaru Niang with the ethnographic procedures. The Data analysis uses ethnographic techniques as an attempt to thoroughly characterize the characteristics of cultural values that influence people's social behavior and adopt to learning. The findings of this study indicate that there are cultural values can be applied in learning to support the strengthening of the Pancasila student profile as launched by the government. Environmental factors play a significant role in drug addiction and recovery. However, there is a knowledge gap regarding environmental factors contributing to relapse and hinder motivation for recovery among drug addicts in Malaysia. Therefore, the objective of this research is to find out the impact of the environment on drug relapse and motivation recovery in former addicts. For this purpose, a cross-sectional research design was utilized whereby a self-administered questionnaire was randomly distributed among 50 Malaysian drug addicts. Data were analysed through IBM SPSS software version 25.0, and the partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) approach supported by Smart-PLS 3.3 to analyse the research model. The findings of the study indicated that the environment significantly impacts motivation recovery and relapse. Furthermore, the positive environment influences motivation for recovery in former addicts and pushes the addicts to relapse after rehabilitation. The quantitative data from the study show that the participants' IC level was neither high nor low. Their level of IC was affected by age, study abroad experience, frequency of using Spanish, and positive intercultural experiences, but not by gender, college year, or number of foreign languages spoken. Khairie Ahmad khairie@uum.edu.my <p>The study employs Western spiritual leadership theories yet is supposed to be from an Asian-Pakistani perspective. Associating Imran Khan’s (IK) political communication with these spiritual leadership theories would transform them into the eastern-cum-Asian context. IK and other world leaders may communicate distinctively in public interaction. Because political/religious leaders in Pakistan frequently utilise religious references in their communication to persuade their supporters, mediating or moderating political communication or leadership communication accordingly. Thus, spiritual leadership ideas influence attitudes and behaviours religiously. This qualitative study analysed textual speeches employing a directed qualitative content method enhancing trustworthiness. Researchers transcribed IK’s video speeches (2008-2022) using Notta Premium. In the findings, IK cited Islam and Islamic history, knowing that his audience values a spiritual leader who speaks about religious teachings alongside political communication and understands the importance of religious spirituality. His communication may inspire local trust and optimism. However, religious implications in political communication may confound international audiences. Data for this investigation were collected from 413 subordinates and their respective 57 supervisors working in a pharmaceutical organisation operating in Jakarta, Indonesia. The collected data was then analyzed for regression and mediated moderation with MPlus. We found that LMX may have a negative side, as those in quality exchange relationships with supervisors may hide knowledge from others, which may affect the creative potential of employees. With this research, we have shown that interpersonal mechanisms in general and LMX in particular will not always be beneficial for the exchange of knowledge and creativity of employees. We contributed to creativity research by introducing prosocial motivation and impression-management motivation as having a moderating role in knowledge hiding and creativity relationships. Our research revealed that the motivation of a focal employee overrides knowledge hiding, the underlying social exchange, knowledge hiding, and creativity relationships. The motivation of focal employees influences the social exchange patterns by affecting knowledge hiding among coworkers, thereby enhancing/ suppressing their creativity. This research uses a qualitative approach because it is still uncommon for a qualitative approach that analyzes how and why messages are formulated in beauty advertising. This research also uses a semiology analysis method to explore the meaning of communication messages based on Roland Barthes's model, which includes denotation, connotation, and myth. The sample of advertisements is eight from the screening results of 82 populations and is classified as visual feminism, women's representation, gender equality, women's empowerment, and natural beauty. The result shows that three beauty brands use signs such as sentences and models that promote differences in beauty standards, and the beauty standards in Indonesia have changed over time. CLC shall carry out quality assurance independently in terms of establishing, fulfilling, evaluating, and developing educational standards that can guarantee the function of implementing educational programs and managing the institutions to run effectively, efficiently, and sustainably. This study employed an explanatory sequential design conducted on CLCs in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Data was collected and analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results show that during the Covid-19 epidemic, the IQA's performance is in the high category for all assessed indicators, namely input, output, outcome, and impact. However, IQA administrators should develop the performance of IQA management that is restricted to learning aspects, predominately involves external parties, and is constrained by facilities to improve their quality. The study used a quantitative research design using a survey method. In the study, descriptive content analysis was applied to define the narrative of political campaign ethics based on Bugis's Philosophy on Twitter. The research subjects were Twitter users who discussed topics and issues surrounding the cultural and moral values of the Bugis philosophy. Data are extracted from the official accounts of the 2018 South Sulawesi Governor candidates for analysis using Nvivo 12 Plus. The study population included 90 prosecutors working in Jordanian courts. The researchers used the relational method in the second half of the academic year 2020. According to Jordanian prosecutors, the rate of cybercrime harassment is average, whereas that of blackmail is high. The findings also show a statistically significant relationship between harassment and blackmail crimes among the sample members, which is a statistically significant rate. The study also showed that the spread of harassment had six consequences: threatening and defaming the victim, family breakup, social decay, loss of values, instilling skcepticism and loss of self-confidence, and security instability. The authors recommend increasing citizens' awareness of the concept of electronic governance to combat cybercrime.
