About the Journal

Journal of Intercultural Communication (JICC) (ISSN 1404-1634) is an international, double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing scholarship in intercultural, cultural, and communication published by ICR Publications Ltd, UK. The journal encourages submissions from diverse cultural perspectives, welcoming original research, theoretical and experimental studies, systematic reviews, conceptual essays, and case studies. JICC actively promotes interdisciplinary dialogue across a wide range of fields, including Communication, Cultural Studies, Education, Linguistics and Language, Gender Studies, Public Administration, Strategy and Management, Intercultural Management, Organizational Culture, Innovation, Migration Studies, Sustainability, and Media and Digital Communication.
The journal is an outgrowth of NIC – the Nordic Network for Intercultural Communication. The great interest shown in NIC's activities has highlighted a need for more journals that employ peer review in the field of intercultural communication. We hope that by starting this journal, we will encourage more research, facilitate contact among interested researchers, and provide better opportunities for peer-reviewed publication. We welcome contributions, original research, and reviews concerning all areas of intercultural communication and cross-cultural comparison.
